Liam Worsfold
Highly relatable and down to earth, Liam understands that real estate is a “people industry”. His energy and enthusiasm towards clients is infectious, and enable him to build longlasting relationships of trust.
Underpinning this is a remarkable intelligence and knowledge of the bigger picture of how New Zealand operates, from his previous role as Intelligence Analyst with the New Zealand Police. It was his role to contribute to harm reduction and prevent and disrupt criminal activity by employing a full range of analytical and critical thinking techniques – which makes him one very smart cookie. Liam now applies these advanced skills in analysis, problem-solving and negotiation on behalf of his real estate clients, giving him the ability to handle all situations with a holistic approach. This special combination of experience saw him quickly rise to the Top 5% of Bayleys sales people, nationwide, by 2019/2020.
Christchurch born and bred, when entering the real estate industry it was important to Liam to return from Wellington to Christchurch and be part of its rebuild and development. A strong appreciation of the Christchurch and Canterbury lifestyle was also a major drawcard. Always one to pay it forward, Liam has been a Lifeguard for Surf Life Saving NZ since 2001. Outside work, he and his wife share the love of an active lifestyle, good food and wine, and the banter that ensues with a Crusader’s fanatic living with a Hurricanes tragic. A city-slicker at heart, he frequents his in-laws’ farm when he can, where he is infamous for his ‘fish-out-of-water’ look but gets stuck in nonetheless.
Doing the best by people is what Liam prides himself on. Comments such as “… this is absolute testament to your integrity and decency” mean far more to him than a flashy suit and a shiny car.
